Net result: DEX buys pay 3%, DEX sells pay 3%, transfers between wallets pay 0% (the transfer hook refunds the whole fee on-chain), and wallets on the platform whitelist pay 0%. The collected fees are split across seven destinations. Wallets on the platform whitelist, including team wallets, pay no transfer fee, including when selling.

      KOTS is the currency of King of the Shill, a meme contest. You use it to play, and you can win it by playing well.

      Paid actions use it

      Uploading a meme, voting with a paid hieroglyph and commenting are paid in KOTS. The upvote is free, and a second tap takes it back: it shows your support and counts toward the 10 votes needed for the monthly loyalty reward; placements and loyalty shares follow paid marks only. Every wallet also gets one free upload a day into the daily contest, and that meme competes on the same terms as a paid one.

      Contests rank memes by the community's votes. Only memes in a running contest take votes or marks (comments stay open), and nobody can vote for or mark their own meme. The top memes share KOTS prizes from the contest prize pool, and the winners are recorded on-chain before anything is paid. 70% of what players pay for paid marks and comments in a contest is its prize pool; the rest goes to the treasury. The first-comment prize, 5% of each contest's prize pool, is shared equally among the first eligible commenters on every meme in a contest, placed or not; how a meme finishes plays no part.       • Not a share of anything. Holding KOTS gives you no dividends, no part of the platform's revenue and no say in how it is run. The monthly loyalty reward does not depend on holding KOTS: a wallet qualifies with at least 10 votes in that month's contests (free upvotes count) and at least one paid mark. Qualifying wallets share it by the number of different memes they marked with paid marks. It is paid from the 2% of the contests' prize pools set aside for it.
      • Not a promise. Its price can fall, including to zero. Only spend what you would spend on a game.
      • Not advice. Nothing here tells you to buy, hold or sell.
